Made with the most stunning Gotland sheepskin hide. The hide is sewn onto the front 2 pockets. The back of the tote is made of a super soft suede. 

Note: there’s a small bald piece on this hide right on the edge, it was from the area of the sheep behind the arm, which naturally has little wool

Each item is unique, it’s my version of art in leather form, I create in small batches, entirely by with my own hands, from cutting to stitching to hardware, there’s no machinery in my process. I use vegetable tanned leather, leather that shows the rich life it lived before, from bug bites to brands to stetchmarks, it’s written on the hide of these bags, with no two being exactly the same. I create using the whole hide, purposely leaving the imperfections and arranging the bag so they sit on the back, after all what better way to honour this material than using every scrap possible?
